Leafly Brings First-Ever Interactive Cannabis Experience To Portland

Last week, Oregonians celebrated their first-ever Fourth of July with recreational cannabis legal across the state. Leafly was there to join the festivities and debut its first-ever physical presence: an interactive dispensary lobby experience.

The lounge is housed at one of Portland’s premier dispensaries, Canna-Daddy’s, located at 17020 SE Division St. It offers new and experienced cannabis consumers a wealth of information and resources. Interactive displays and electronic kiosks address cannabis basics and help match consumers to strains based on their needs and Canna Daddy’s availability. The center also boasts custom-designed, sustainably-created wood furniture by Coyote Woodshop, as well as a mural created by local favorite Blaine Fontana, who is known for his work around the city. The fun, colorful mural features hidden strain tiles only visible from certain angles.

“Whether you’re new to cannabis, a medical marijuana patient or a seasoned consumer, Leafly is here to make the process of finding the right strains and products fast, simple and comfortable,” said Linn Baumgardt, Senior Channel Marketing Manager at Leafly. “This is a chance to tap into Leafly’s trusted resources in a fun new way, and make more informed decisions while you shop.”

“Giving customers the opportunity to explore and learn inside the dispensary takes the whole shopping experience to a new level,” said Brad Zusman, owner of Canna-Daddy’s. “Leafly has been an integral part of Canna-Daddy’s success, but this center gives new meaning to the phrase ’Powered by Leafly.’”

Launched in 2010, Leafly’s online resource offers more than nine million monthly visitors a strain explorer to better understand the medical properties of each strain of cannabis, a dispensary locator to find the proximity of local establishments, and reviews of particular strains and dispensaries.
