Leafly Asks "What's Your Reason?" Ahead Of Election 2016

Voters in nine states could choose to legalize either medical or recreational cannabis this November. Ahead of this pivotal election, Leafly, the world's cannabis information resource, is working to educate voters across the country about the upcoming ballot measures and the future of cannabis legalization in the United States.

Today, Leafly debuted the "What's Your Reason?" campaign to highlight the stories of advocates, activists, and voters who are passionate about legalizing cannabis for a variety of reasons. Among them are Renee Petro, the mother of a 14-year-old battling a rare form of epilepsy whose condition improved after using medical cannabis, and Christopher Lengyel, who served in Afghanistan and has seen how cannabis can help veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder. These powerful stories are just two of many

The "What's Your Reason?" campaign also features summaries of each ballot measure being considered in November, as well as information about registering to vote.

Leafly visitors can use the hashtag #WhatsYourReason on social media to join the conversation and share why legalizing cannabis is important to them.
