Dr. Catherine Jacobson, Director of Clinical Research at Tilray, is scheduled to speak at an upcoming symposium about medical cannabis and epilepsy hosted later this month by the Child Neurology Society. This unique, interdisciplinary event will bring together thought leaders from both clinical science and advocacy to discuss the use of cannabis-derived medicines for pediatric epilepsy patients. The symposium will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 during the Child Neurology Society's 45th annual meeting in Vancouver, Canada. The Child Neurology Society is the preeminent non-profit professional association of pediatric neurologists worldwide.
Dr. Jacobson, a PhD neuroscientist who helps facilitate Tilray's groundbreaking research partnerships around the world, is also the parent of a medical cannabis patient. Earlier this year, she appeared on PBS NewsHour and spoke at the Global Medical Cannabis Summit in Dublin. She will speak at Web Summit's HealthConf with Privateer Holdings CEO Brendan Kennedy in November. Learn more about Dr. Jacobson and her role at Tilray here.
